The problem

A statewide chapter of a national medical association serves two demanding audiences at once. Physicians expect to find meetings, chapter news and leadership information without digging. The national organization expects a standard of presentation that reflects the profession.

When content goes stale or events are hard to find, member engagement drops. For an association, the website is the chapter's public face between annual meetings.

What I did

• Organized the site around what members actually look for: events, membership, leadership and chapter news
• Built a structure the chapter can keep current, because association content changes all year
• Held the design to the standard a medical professional expects: clean, credible and fast
• Ongoing maintenance keeps the site updated as chapter information changes
