Free website scan
See your website the way a customer does
Type your address. I read the page, work out what kind of business it belongs to, and score it on what matters for that kind of business. It takes a few seconds and costs nothing.
What the scan looks at
Three groups, weighted by what your kind of business actually needs. A restaurant is judged on its menu and its hours. A shop is judged on whether a visitor can see how to buy. A portfolio is judged on neither, and the report says so.
What a customer needs to see
The things a visitor looks for before they call, book or buy.
How Google understands your business
What tells the results page who you are and what you do.
Technical foundation
Speed, weight and the basics that decide whether the page is usable on a phone.
Built for the businesses I work with every day: contractors, medical practices, restaurants, shops and local service companies across Florida.
Straight answers about this scan
- Where do these numbers come from?
- Everything except the speed score comes from reading the page your address points to, the same HTML a browser receives. The speed score comes from Google's own PageSpeed Insights, run against your page at the moment you asked for it.
- Was this built for my kind of business?
- That is the first thing it works out. It reads the page, decides what kind of business it belongs to, and only then applies the checks that matter for that kind. A restaurant is judged on its menu and its hours. A shop is judged on whether you can see how to buy. A portfolio is judged on neither, and the report says so at the top instead of quietly failing it. When the page does not give enough to be sure, it says the type is uncertain rather than guessing.
- Is this enough, or do I need a deeper look?
- This is one page, read once, by a program. It is enough to find the obvious gaps, and those are worth fixing whoever does the work. It is not a substitute for somebody going through the whole site with your business in mind.
- Why did something pass that I know is a problem?
- The scan checks whether a thing is there, not whether it is any good. A tappable phone number passes even if it rings a line nobody answers. Reviews pass if the page has them, not if they are recent or convincing. Read a pass as nothing obviously missing here, not as approval.
- Why did I get a different score the second time?
- The speed number is a live measurement, not a fixed property of your site. Google runs your page on a simulated phone at the moment you ask, and the result moves with their load and yours. Six runs of the same page through this scanner returned 68, 98, 70, 70, 98 and 98. That is why a page is only marked down here when the score is genuinely poor, well below that swing: a stricter line would pass and fail the same site on alternate runs. Everything else in the report is read straight from your page and does not move unless the page does.
- What happens to what I typed?
- The address is used to fetch that one page and score it. We do not keep a copy of your page and the address does not go on any list. If you fill in the form asking for a hand review, your name and email reach me directly so I can write back, and that is all they are used for.
- What if my score is already high?
- Then the easy wins are done and the next ones are the things a scan cannot see: where you rank, what your competitors are doing, and where visitors give up. A high score here is a good sign, not a finished job.
- What can a scan like this not see?
- Quite a lot, and it is worth being blunt about it. It cannot see where you rank in Google or for which searches. It cannot see your Google Business Profile, which is where most local customers actually find you. It cannot see your competitors. It cannot see what visitors do once they arrive, or the page where they give up and leave. It reads one page, once. Those other questions are what the paid audit answers.
