Refund Policy

Nobody enjoys reading refund policies, so this one is short and direct. Here is exactly what happens with your money in every scenario, for work done by Roger de Oca through DEOCAs LLC.

One-time projects

• The 50% deposit is non-refundable. It covers discovery, architecture, and the initial design, the heavy lifting that happens before anything visual ships.
• Work already delivered is not refundable. Once something has been produced and handed over, it has been earned.
• If you cancel mid-project, no refund applies, and you keep every deliverable produced up to that point. The work done so far is yours to use.

Why the deposit works this way

The first half of a project is where most of the thinking lives: discovery conversations, site architecture, and the initial design direction. By the time you see the first designs, real hours have already been invested. The deposit exists to protect that work, which is why it does not come back, whether the project continues or not.

Maintenance subscriptions

• Cancel anytime, either from the Stripe customer portal or by emailing contact@deocas.us.
• Your service stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing gets cut off early.
• There are no prorated refunds for partial periods.
• Included change hours do not roll over from month to month. Use them within the month or they reset.
• After you cancel, the subscription simply does not renew. No penalties, no retention games, no hoops to jump through.

The nothing-upfront monthly option

• Monthly payments are not refundable once the month has started.
• The option carries a minimum of twelve payments. Ending it earlier means the remaining payments of that minimum are due, because they are how the build is paid for.
• After the twelve payments, cancel with notice before the next billing date and nothing further is charged.

The website audit

• The $197 audit is refunded in full if you cancel before the review has started, which in practice means within 24 hours of paying.
• Once the report is delivered it is not refundable: the work has been done and the report is yours.
• The fee is credited in full toward a rebuild contracted within ninety days of delivery.

The free mockup and the free scan

Both are free. There is nothing to refund, and neither creates any obligation.

Exceptions and unusual situations

Policies cover the normal cases; life produces the other kind. If something genuinely exceptional happened, a serious illness, a business closing, a situation this page never imagined, write to contact@deocas.us and explain it. Every message gets read by a real person, and honest situations get honest answers.
