The problem

Houseblend Painting and Restoration serves Miami-Dade as a painter first and a handyman second: interior and exterior painting, repairs, carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing, floors and upkeep. A homeowner judges a painter by the finish. Before anyone sees the crew work, the website is the finish they judge. A cluttered or dated site tells the customer exactly what they fear about hiring the wrong painter.

The site had to look the way the company paints: clean lines, careful edges, no mess.

What I did

• Put finished projects first, because in this trade the pictures are the pitch
• Broke services down clearly so residential and restoration customers each find their path
• Made requesting a quote a single obvious step
• Ongoing maintenance keeps the portfolio growing as new projects finish
